Sakura doesn't really develope her crush on Li until later on. After Yukito had rejected her (gently), she seemed to focus more on Li. They seem to be destined to be together. Li doesn't like her much at first, but he soon developes a huge crush on Sakura. They have so much in common, they fight for the Clow cards, they are both great at almost everything, and they both want the attention of Yukito. Who know that arguing over another person would bring these two so close together? ^_~

Sakura has a strong crush on Touya's bestfriend/boyfriend, Yukito. She blushes everytime she even thinks about him! Sakura and Yuki share a special time during the Festival at the Tsukimine Shrine, involving the Glow Card. Sakura eventually confesses her feelings to Yukito, but he tries to let her down gently. Yuki tells her that he already has someone he cares for. She asks if it's her brother Touya, and he has to tell her "yes." Sakura then moves on to Syaoran Li.
